The Rebirth has brought to Jazz their
own modernist vocabulary, adding licks
and rhythms absorbed from Rap, Reggae,
avant garde Jazz and the pulse of the
streets of the city. The result is a
successful marriage of traditional Jazz
numbers to youthful P-Funk grooves.
