Kinfolk Brass Band started in October of 2006, a year after Katrina. What started with a few players here and there quickly morphed into a six-man lineup, which solidified quickly into a single voice. Through hardship and struggle, Kinfolk has kept true to their roots to create a unique band with a quintessentially New Orleans flavor. The levees may have broken but you can't break the spirit of New Orleans and the amazing sounds that the Kinfolk Brass Band has to offer.
